Yesterday we were very kindly hosted for a tour of the San Sebastian coffee and macadamia estate just outside of Antigua, Guatemala. This farm has been in existence since 1890 with a long history of growing sugar cane and macadamias. It wasn’t until about 30 or 40 years ago when coffee planting began under the visionary owner of the time. Currently this farm produces exceptional award winning coffee (included in their trophy case are multiple Cup of Excellence awards) as well as macadamia nuts and a little bit of milk. Anyhow, let’s get to the good stuff — I’d like to share images of this incredibly beautiful and quite remarkable coffee farm!
Forgive me for the lack of captions on most of these — I did add them but about 2/3 weren’t saved properly.
